The ABNOX AXSP Lubricantion Pump ensures a flawless supply of lubricants with a medium to high viscosity, from silicone grease to silicone oils. It is integrated into various ABNOX grease supply products such as barrel pumps, cartridge pumps or “Easy Lub” pumps and drives the lubrication process.
The compact Lubricantion Pump reliably transports the lubricant from the container to the assembly line, where dosing valves and other components are supplied. Or it is integrated into the “Easy Lub” pump and presses the grease directly into the grease fitting.
Thus the AXSP pump is either used directly as a feed pump, or as a pump for decanting or filling processes. With its straightforward structure consisting of an air motor and a suction system, it is a key element of a professional grease supply. Especially in the industrial environment where a high level of process security and robustness are required, it is an ideal solution and also suitable for continuous operation.
The appropriate suction system for all containers
Not only the length but also the transmission ratio plays a role in choosing the suitable version. When grease or oil is transported over longer distances, the pressure drop needs to be taken into account as well. Depending on the container size, conveying pressure and lubricant viscosity, the user has a choice of suction systems in five different standard lengths, from 288 to 845 millimetres, and two types – with a 25:1 transmission ratio or a 60:1 transmission ratio.
Here's an example: A 25:1 pressure ratio with a supplied air pressure of two bar results in a medium discharge pressure of about 50 bar.
Grease pump changeover: Just a few steps
With a total of ten different version, ABNOX has all lubricating applications covered. By the way, the lubricant pump with its modular structure can also be changed over quickly: For example, when a customer uses two different lubricants but only has one lubricant pump, the suction system is simply exchanged. This applies correspondingly for different pressure ratios and container sizes.
Switching from one suction system to another only takes a few steps: After loosening two screws and turning the coupling, the suction system is ejected from the air motor and the new one is inserted. The coupling is turned back, the screws are tightened – and lubrication can resume!
