From the application of grease to ball bearings, small parts or assemblies to maintenance processes for machines and systems – the new AXCP1-S cartridge pump offers new flexibility for industrial lubricant delivery. Since the compressed air grease delivery system does not require a container, it is perfect for selective use at varying locations. In case of various dosing units, the hose to the dosing valve is quickly connected and decoupled again after use. ABNOX Dosing Valves with a handle, for example, can be connected directly to the cartridge pump with a high-pressure hose.
The AXCP1-S cartridge pump for the the application of small grease quantities is easy to transport. Thus the mobile grease delivery system also makes a contribution to internal efficiency, which is so important today. The compact design is also suitable for fixed installation – for example, in a fully automated system with limited available space.
The AXCP1-S fis a versatile alternative to conventional small container pumps with a dosing volume of one to five kilograms. While commissioning a stationary small container pump requires additional processes (the connection to the follower plate and positioning to the top locking mechanism), the portable solution sets itself apart with fast cartridge replacement.
The empty cartridge is removed by operating the two clamping handles and a full one is inserted into the grease cylinder (see video). After positioning the new DIN1284 cartridge, the two handles are locked again. Air may then have to be quickly bled from the pump – and that’s it.
ABNOX offers two versions of the AXCP1-S cartridge pump, respectively with a pressure ratio of 25:1 and 60:1. Optionally, the compressed air grease delivery system can be started and stopped via an electrically controlled directional valve. An electric empty detector is also available to inform the user via the PLC when the cartridge is empty. Like all other ABNOX products, the AXCP1-S sets itself apart with a long service life.
