The crane moves dynamically and noiselessly. For its arm and driving cab to rotate on the geared ring with minimal friction, it was greased using a professional dosing system. A look at the halls of many construction machinery manufacturers reveals that this process, located in assembly, is by no means a minor matter: Here the lubricant containers are generally 30 to 50 metres away from the application site. Accordingly, larger lubricant volumes also have to be conveyed over such distances as part of an integrated system. Doing this quickly and cleanly with process reliability is the challenge.
ABNOX developed the AXFP-M Drum Pump for such scenarios. As the heart of a dosing system, it provides a powerful and continuous lubricant supply for application to large components/assemblies, such as roller bearings or bearing surfaces. Multiple grease dispensers or other – in part automated – “consumers” are often supplied simultaneously, feeding or directly applying the lubricant in precisely dosed quantities. Lubricant manufacturers who fill certain cartridges for their trade also count on ABNOX technology, guaranteeing no air pockets or contamination.
A comprehensive dosing system, exactly designed by ABNOX to meet individual customer needs from one source, is particularly beneficial to users. In most cases, such a lubrication system also has integrated Volumetric Metering Valves for the volumetric application of up to 0.5 litres of grease.

9 litres per minute
As the largest pump in the ABNOX product range, the AXFP-M completes the selection with the highest conveying volume. Compared to the AXFP-S that conveys 1.5 litres per minute, the output of the AXFP-M with up to 9 litres per minute is considerably higher. While the AXFP3-M covers containers up to 50 kilograms, the AXFP4-M is suitable for containers up to 180 kilograms. Both versions are available with pressure ratios of 20:1 and 40:1. The AXFP4-M is also available with a pressure ratio of 60:1.
