From an early age, I have been fascinated by vehicles of all types. From the toy cars for toddlers to the various vehicles I assembled from the famous colored building blocks, means of transportation accompanied me throughout my youth. During my teen years, I often tinkered mopeds with my friends, which sparked my interest in the functions of the individual components and the construction of the two-wheelers. As my eighteenth birthday approached, and with it my driver's license, I was filled with anticipation. The older I got, the more my interest in cars and motorcycles grew. So a few years ago I rented a hobby garage with a few friends, where we still live out our technical enthusiasm to this day.
My fascination lies in the variety of different vehicles and their functions. As a technically curious person, I am always driven to explore, try out and learn new things. I developed a special preference for cars of Asian origin, mainly because the design of most of these "youngtimers" appeals to me. So I decided to start my own build project with such a classic.
In the last few years I have invested a lot of my spare time to build a complete and roadworthy car out of a total of four donor cars. Everyone who shares my passion knows that such a project never comes to an end. But it is exactly the constant working on and looking at the small but fine progress that gives me great pleasure. Although I have just described my hobby as work, it means anything but work to me: It is rather a balance to my job, where I can learn a lot and always encounter new challenges!
