Pressure Sensors DS1 and DS2 – Precise Pressure Monitoring
The piezoresistive 2-wire pressure transmitter DS1 is designed for a pressure range of 0–5 bar. The piezoresistive 2-wire pressure transmitter DS2 covers an extended pressure range of 0–50 bar.
Both pressure sensors can be directly used in:
- ABNOX Spray Valve AXSPV-EP
- ABNOX Spray Valve AXSPV-PP
- ABNOX Pulse Valve AXDV-P1
- ABNOX Pulse Valve AXDV-P50
For metering valves and outlet valves, ABNOX also offers a connection block with an integrated sensor connection thread for the direct integration of the pressure sensors DS1 and DS2 into:
- ABNOX Metering Valve AXDV-C
- ABNOX Outlet Valve AXDV-A
In combination with a suitable metering process controller, pressure profiles can be continuously recorded and evaluated during the metering process. This enables transparent process monitoring and enhances process reliability for every metering cycle.
Magnetic Field Sensor for Piston Position Detection
In addition to pressure monitoring, ABNOX offers a magnetic field sensor with an M8x1 connector for retrofitting piston detection on the:
- ABNOX Metering Valve AXDV-C
The integrated LED status indicator visually signals the respective end position of the grease piston on the metering valve.
For maximum process reliability, ABNOX recommends dual detection of the grease piston (monitoring both end positions) for C-series metering valves. This ensures seamless monitoring of the entire metering process.
