Metering Valve Stations

Discover our volumetric dispensing valves, available as dispensing stations—perfect for precise dispensing of large volumes. The solution for filling storage tanks and for reliable grease application.

Dispensing Stations for Filling & High-Volume Dosing

ABNOX dispensing stations are ideal for dosing large quantities. An external 5/2-way valve must be provided for control. For dosing volumes up to 500 cm³, such as for filling roller bearings or other large bearings, dispensing stations with manual switching or pneumatic rotary actuators are particularly suitable. Actuation occurs either via manual switching or pneumatically through a 5/2-way valve. The pressure gauge at the material inlet reliably indicates the inlet pressure.

The desired dosage quantity is continuously adjustable using an adjustment handle. Repeat accuracy in the mid-dosage range is +/- 2%, depending on the nozzle design.

Dispensing stations with a sensor (H or P) offer a cost-effective method for monitoring the dosing process. The use of dispensing stations with two sensors (H+P) is recommended for optimal monitoring. The functionality of the dispensing stations is explained based on the sensor type:

  • Sensor H: The dosing piston is monitored. Since the air and grease chambers are separated, process reliability is increased. The sensor sends an electrical pulse when the dosing piston reaches the end position.
  • Sensor P: The air piston is monitored. This allows monitoring of the pneumatic piston position (dosing or charging stroke).
  • Sensor H+P: The sensors detect the respective end positions of the grease and air pistons. Through this position detection, the final states of the dosing process are captured (Signal H: "Dosing complete," Signal P: "Dosing ready").

Note: To ensure the functionality of Sensor H, the smallest dosing quantity should be approximately 10% greater than the minimum quantity specified on the valve. For dosages in the lower limit range, the next smaller valve is recommended.
